HYPNOSIS
The subconscious makes up 88% of our total mind power

Why is hypnosis so effective?
Around 12% of our mind power comes from the critical mind. The critical mind is our logic, reasoning, willpower, and analysis. When we make a decision to change, it’s our conscious mind making that choice. You may have noticed change is not easy. We may wake up one day and decide to completely be done with a bad habit however, after a few days or even weeks we catch ourselves resorting back to our old familiar patterns. It’s that stubborn subconscious of ours that is holding us back. The subconscious makes up 88% of our total mind power and it wants to maintain homeostasis. As you probably already know, it’s responsible for processes like our breathing, digestion, heartrate, etc. Just as it works to balance physical processes it’s balancing our mental aspect as well. This means it’s filtering information to fit our current perception of the world and naturally bringing up thinking patterns and behaviors from the familiar past.
It has collected data throughout our entire lives and learned from what it sees and hears around us. From the moment we’re born It starts making associations. These associations create our life story. The way we perceive ourselves and the world around us is nothing more than that, a story. The great news is we have the capability to write our own story, one that suits our highest selves.
Under hypnosis, your subconscious mind is open for change. We can now get the subconscious to be in alignment with your conscious desires. The old unresourceful neural pathways can be broken down while new ones can be put in place. Through a variety of therapeutic processes, we can release the limiting beliefs, stuck emotions, and unhealthy behaviors that are preventing you from getting to you where you want to be. With new empowering beliefs, visions and states of being, your mind will have a GPS point for success, well-being, and freedom. Hypnosis is the answer for rapid transformation of the mind body and spirit.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state everyone shifts in and out of every day. We’re in a state of hypnosis right when we wake up, when we’re driving, daydreaming and moments before falling asleep. People often mistake being hypnotized for sleeping. In actuality, it’s a state of heightened awareness where the barrier between the conscious and subconscious mind is dissolved. In trance, your brain falls into Alpha and Theta waves. In these brainwave states there’s a feeling of deep relaxation, increased focus, and an openness to receiving suggestions. As the bridge between your conscious and subconscious opens, powerful transformation takes place.
What does hypnosis feel like?
The results can vary for everyone. Have you ever been daydreaming and gotten lost in your own imagination? Your peripheral awareness decreases, and you seem to get entranced in your mind’s deeper thoughts and images. Under hypnosis, you’re still conscious and you may or may not have drifting thoughts. You will also find that you’re still in control. Some people think because their conscious mind is still active, they aren’t hypnotized. In trance, the subconscious is always listening and taking in suggestions on a deeper level. Common examples of when we’re in a state of hypnosis are when we’re driving on the freeway and miss our exit, the first few minutes when we wake up and when we’re watching movies. We’re absorbed in the images and words and if we want to, we can still critically think about what’s taking place. Some people are more aware of their bodies and the space around them while others find themselves drifting or floating through space. Overall, there is a feeling of deep relaxation and openness.
NLP was formed in the 1970’s when John Grinder and Richard Bandler sought to understand how people’s internal representations of reality led to their successes. NLP is a therapeutic approach based on the power of language patterns. It is all about our strategies for life. Our strategies are the thoughts, images, and kinesthetic feelings we have, which create our behavior. It works to remove the unresourceful strategies and replace them with new successful ones. You can change the way you think, the way you see and the way you feel. The approach heavily focuses on creating positive inner states. With positive inner states comes positive action and the ability to create the change you desire. It consists of a variety of tools, techniques and processes to shift your internal map of reality. Essentially, you are learning how to use your mind to create the life you want. These tools are used in combination with hypnosis.
Therapeutic Imagery
Therapeutic Imagery is a powerful therapeutic tool combined with relaxation and visualization. Your imagination is everything. By guiding you through different visualizations, your subconscious mind can change perspectives, release old patterns, build new associations, and heal in a multitude of ways. The imagery journeys are both calming and enlightening leading to an overall sense of well-being. Therapeutic Imagery is commonly used to help with stress, pain, habit changes, fears, stuck emotions, physical health, motivation, confidence, and goal achievement. The uses are nearly limitless, especially in tandem with hypnosis.
